Key Information

  • Inspect your electric bicycle and its packaging promptly after delivery.
  • Report damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect orders as soon as possible.
  • Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs when submitting a claim.
  • Manufacturer warranty coverage applies only when stated for the specific product.
  • ebikeFo does not provide a separate store warranty unless expressly stated in writing.
  • Do not ride, modify, repair, or return a damaged or potentially unsafe electric bicycle or battery without contacting us for instructions.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products

If your electric bicycle arrives damaged, appears defective, is incomplete, or differs materially from what you ordered, contact ebikeFo promptly.

After reviewing your claim, we may arrange an appropriate:

  • Replacement
  • Replacement component
  • Repair solution
  • Refund
  • Authorized return
  • Other remedy required by applicable law

The available resolution may depend on:

  • The nature and extent of the problem
  • The information and evidence provided
  • Product or component availability
  • Manufacturer requirements
  • Shipping restrictions
  • Applicable law

A replacement or refund cannot be guaranteed until the claim has been reviewed.

How to Submit a Claim

Email support@ebikefo.shop and provide:

  • Your order number
  • The bicycle brand and model
  • A detailed description of the problem
  • Photographs or video showing the issue
  • Photographs of the packaging and shipping label
  • A photograph of the frame or serial number
  • Photographs of any damaged components
  • Assembly, use, and maintenance details when relevant

Keep the bicycle, battery, charger, keys, accessories, manuals, packaging, and shipping materials while the claim is under review.

We normally respond to messages within 1–2 business days. This response time does not guarantee that the entire claim will be resolved within that period.

Transit Damage

If a package appears damaged when delivered:

  1. Photograph the unopened package from several angles.
  2. Photograph the shipping label.
  3. Open the package carefully.
  4. Photograph the bicycle and any damaged components.
  5. Keep all packaging and included materials.
  6. Contact ebikeFo promptly.

Do not discard the bicycle, damaged components, or packaging until we confirm that they are no longer required for our review or a carrier claim.

If the battery appears crushed, punctured, swollen, leaking, unusually hot, or otherwise unsafe, do not charge or use it. Move away from the product and contact emergency services when there is smoke, fire, severe overheating, or an immediate safety risk.

Manufacturer Warranties

Some electric bicycles may include a written manufacturer’s warranty. Coverage, duration, exclusions, registration requirements, eligible components, labor coverage, and claim procedures vary by manufacturer and product.

A manufacturer’s warranty applies only when:

  • It is expressly stated for the specific product
  • The product and purchaser meet the manufacturer’s eligibility requirements
  • The warranty remains valid for the sale
  • Applicable registration, assembly, use, maintenance, and documentation requirements are satisfied

ebikeFo does not represent that every product includes a manufacturer’s warranty. Contact us before purchasing if warranty coverage is important and it is not clearly displayed on the product page.

A manufacturer may require photographs, diagnostic information, service records, proof of professional inspection, or the return of a component before approving a claim.

Assembly, Inspection, and Maintenance

Some electric bicycles require final assembly and adjustment before use. Customers must follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

We recommend having the bicycle inspected by a qualified bicycle technician before its first ride. The inspection should include the brakes, wheels, tires, handlebars, pedals, drivetrain, electrical connections, fasteners, battery, and charger.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Following assembly and operating instructions
  • Checking that all fasteners and components are secure
  • Performing required maintenance
  • Using compatible replacement parts and accessories
  • Charging and storing the battery correctly
  • Observing rider limits and intended-use restrictions
  • Complying with applicable traffic and electric-bike laws

Assembly, inspection, or service records may be required when evaluating certain warranty claims.

Conditions That May Not Be Covered

Subject to applicable law and the terms of any valid manufacturer’s warranty, coverage may not apply to problems caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper or incomplete assembly
  • Failure to inspect or maintain the bicycle
  • Unauthorized modification, repair, or software alteration
  • Use outside the bicycle’s intended purpose
  • Exceeding the specified rider or cargo limits
  • Collisions, accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • Water intrusion or exposure beyond the stated protection rating
  • Corrosion, extreme temperatures, fire, or environmental damage
  • Use of an incompatible charger, battery, component, or accessory
  • Improper charging, storage, transportation, or battery handling
  • Commercial, rental, competition, or stunt use unless expressly permitted
  • Cosmetic damage occurring after delivery
  • Missing, altered, or removed serial numbers and labels
  • Consumable or wear components that have reached the end of their normal service life

Wear components may include tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, cables, grips, and similar items, unless the problem results from an eligible manufacturing defect.

These exclusions do not remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Battery and Electrical Components

ebikeFo sells complete electric bicycles and does not sell standalone batteries unless a product listing expressly states otherwise.

Battery capacity and performance naturally decline over time and through normal charging cycles. This gradual reduction is not necessarily a defect.

Battery or electrical coverage, when available, is subject to the applicable manufacturer’s warranty and safety requirements.

Do not open, modify, puncture, crush, submerge, or attempt unauthorized repairs on a battery, charger, motor, controller, or electrical system. Doing so may create a serious safety risk and may affect warranty eligibility.

Do not ship a damaged or defective lithium-ion battery without written instructions from ebikeFo and an approved carrier.

Replacement Availability

If a replacement is approved, it remains subject to product or component availability and shipping eligibility.

If the same bicycle or component is unavailable, ebikeFo may offer another appropriate resolution permitted by the applicable policy and law. We will not substitute a materially different product without the customer’s agreement.

Replacement products or components do not automatically create a new warranty period unless required by law or expressly stated by the applicable manufacturer.

Relationship to Returns

Change-of-mind returns and other non-defect returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

A warranty or replacement claim is not automatically approved as a return. Contact ebikeFo before shipping any bicycle, battery, charger, or component.

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Legal Rights

This policy does not create an ebikeFo written warranty unless a separate warranty is expressly provided for a specific product.

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits warranties, liabilities, consumer rights, or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable federal or state law. Rights may vary depending on the product, manufacturer, transaction, intended use, and customer location.
